TRENANCE QUAY - N Gauge
Built as a small space exercise this "table top" layout demonstrates how much detail and character can be obtained in a limited space with N gauge. The model owes a little to Cornwall in its concept. The layout can run continuously with rolling stock in a variety of steam and diesel. The layout measures only 5 feet by 2½ feet. (Operating space at Exhibitions - 5 feet by 5 feet.)
ROYDON ROAD - OO Gauge
This is our first DCC layout and it was built to enable our members are enjoying being able to learn to operate trains digitally. The layout is based on the Eastern Region with steam and early British Rail rolling stock. The layout measures 20 feet 11 inches by 9 feet with turntables at each end.
YEWCHESTER - OO Gauge
This lovely little layout was in need of much tender loving care when it was donated to the Society. It has been carefully restored and extended. The trains run past the harbour through a tunnel to the branch terminus. (A layout such as this is very much within the ability of the average modeller).
UPTON JUNCTION - N Gauge
This is a new layout which is under construction at present.
