This layout was featured in the N Gauge Journal - 2010 No 3
This layout can be exhibited by the new owner, if required.
REDHOUSE PAPER MILL - N Gauge
This was built as an 'N Gauge Module' which means it can be linked with any other modules built under the same specification and allows through running from one module to the next. However it can also be operated as a stand alone module and depicts a modern paper mill complex where logs are delivered at one end, converted into wood chips then into wood pulp, and finally into paper products at the other end. Although built originally as a paper mill situated in the North West of the USA, because it is surrounded by coniferous forest, it can be operated as a Scottish or European paper mill simply by changing the signals, signs and vehicles. Its size is 8 feet by 2¼ feet and operated from the rear.
